Two people living here, it’s too big.” Giana touched the clean TV cabinet and then the spotless wine cabinet, and sighed, “I really admire your capability. Running your own company, conducting experiments every day, must be busy enough. And then coming back to do household chores, cleaning such a big house, you must be exhausted, right?”
I wondered and asked, “Wasn’t there any electricity?”
“What appliance?”
“The clothes are dried with a washing machine and dryer, the floor is cleaned with a floor sweeping and mopping robot, and the dishes are washed with a dishwasher, but we have too few dishes at home, so we generally don’t use
it.”
Giana was taken aback. “You have so many cabinets at home; cleaning this and that must take a lot of time, right? I sat up, pulled a cushion into my arms, and looked around.“No dust.”

I said softly, “Maybe it’s because we live on a higher floor; there is no dust. I have lived here for two years and have never cleaned it once; it’s always clean every day.”
Giana was amused, leaning back on the couch and squinting at me.“Katrina, you’ve been using your brain for experiments. In a spotless household, how is it possible to have only two household chores, mopping the floor and doing laundry? Do you think that’s possible?”
I had never thought about this question before. It was only when Giana brought it up that I realized something seemed to have been overlooked in my life.
“Could it be that Kaleb hired a cleaner?” Giana asked curiously.
I shook my head, and mentioning Kaleb, my heart felt heavy once again. I softly said, “Before we got married, I told him that I didn’t like other people touching my things.”
Giana murmured softly,“If it wasn’t for the housekeeper, then it must be the snail girl!”
I chuckled softly.
