For a long time afterward, I received various anonymous text messages or photos.
Some showed Thane holding Lily on the couch watching TV, looking peaceful and content.
Some showed them holding hands, walking along the beach.

I couldn’t say I was heartbroken or sad. The most genuine reaction was the disgust rising

Thane’s expression was much more desolate than mine as he stared at the document, lost in thought.
“Sophie, can we at least still be friends?”
I just smiled without answering. But before leaving, a question suddenly occurred to me.
“Thane, will you marry Lily after divorcing me?”
At that moment, the wind blew past, and ice cream truck blared again.
