Chapter 14: Shopping
Shopping is nothing but pure torture. And I know torture. – Dom
The following Saturday Taz walked into the clubhouse gym to find the guys setting up a boxing ring. She had noticed that the equipment had slowly been moved around through out the week, but didn’t ask about it..
New padded flooring had been installed and the lighting was replaced.
“What are you guys doing?” Taz asked as they hooked the ropes in.
“Our consultant suggested that you would like to have a ring here.” Spider told her.
“Who’s your consultant?” she asked watching them struggle. She rolled up onto the mat and walked over to manhandle the rope and post into place.
“My daughter.” Molly said. “You’ve done that before.”
“Some of my first fights required help for setup.”
“Where do you want the heavy bags?” Buck asked as some of the guys brought in some boxes.
“Ya’ll don’t-”
“Talk to your new social media manager.” Molly pointed to his daughter who was directing the guys that were bringing in gallons of paint. “She picked colors that will look good for pictures. The patch is going on one wall. Toad insisted. Pretty sure that there is a shopping trip in your near future too.”
“I hate shopping.” Taz grumbled.
“Too bad.” Dom said as she leaned on a post. “If I have to go, you have to go.”
“And you have to behave.” Whip said as he gave her a quick kiss, murmuring softly that only she heard.
“Make up your mind!” Dom called after him. “Do you want me to behave or not?”
“Behave and I’ll submit to blood play tonight.” He tossed over his shoulder as he helped the brothers open the equipment boxes.
“Putting on my fucking angel wings.” Dom muttered to herself. “I know Molly, be good around the kid.”
“Just don’t turn her into a kink slave.” Molly requested before looking at his daughter. “Priss. You ready?”
She gave a few more instructions and then handed the clipboard over to Dino before approaching the ring. “Do you like it?”
“It’s nice. But I don’t need all this to fight.”
“You have no social media presence.” Priscilla told her matter of factly. “You need to build your fan base. Bellator is a company, they want to make money. You have to show them, and potential sponsors, that you can do that.”
“And a fresh coat of paint is going to do that?” Taz asked with a cocked eyebrow.
“No. The paint itself won’t.” Priscilla admitted. “But the tweets and instagram posts of you with branding will.” She looked at her watch. “We should get going, I have practice at three.”

“Three? It’s not even eight yet” Taz pointed out looking up at the clock on the wall.
“Breakfast, shopping and then practice.” Priscilla said as if it were obvious.
“Come on, I promise to try to save the big bad MMA fighter from the tiny teenage girl with a credit card.” Dom teased.
“I know what you’re into.” Molly said with a grin. “Don’t believe her
