Chapter 30: Questions
I have all kinds of questions. – Priscilla
A little before nine, Taz met Priscilla in the hotel lobby and they went to the conference room that had been scheduled. They would be riding back later today and were both already dressed for the road. Thick denim jeans, club t–shirts, biker boots and leather jackets. Taz still had her hair in the braids from last night. Priscilla had also pulled her hair into a French braid.
“I’m pretty sure that your dad is not letting you stay at a clubhouse on the weekend.” Taz said putting her jacket on the back of her chair. “Where did you stay last night?”
“With the president’s daughter.” She said getting set up with her little recorder and notebook.
The other fighters started to arrive as they continued to talk. Priscilla had gone and checked out the college yesterday morning with her dad. She liked it, but would rather attend the one back home. They had a better mass communications program.
Once everyone who had agreed was there, Priscilla thanked them and then began her interview. Taz was impressed with her professionalism and the depth of the questions. At the end, she asked what advice each would give to their high school selves. And if they would give the same advice to a high school student today.
For the most part, they were the standard responses. Go after your dreams. Don’t give up. Aim for the stars. Keep studying.
“Don’t drink yourself stupid.” Taz said. A couple chuckled but they all agreed.
Priscilla got a few more pictures and then phone numbers were exchanged. As the group was breaking up, several stopped to tell Taz that they expected to see her around. And for
her to continue to move up.
Cora Anne placed her belt on Taz’s shoulder. “It won’t be long before you have one of
your own. When you get a title fight, let me know.”
Priscilla snapped a picture of the moment. “Do you mind if I post that?”
“Go for it.” Cora Anne said. “Encourage more girls to step out of the norm. Heels are

pretitty, but boots are functional.”
“Women can do anything a man can do, except backwards and in heels.” Taz added.
“Ginger Rogers.” Cora Anne smiled.
“You should show her that tattoo.” Priscilla said gathering her belongings.
Cora Anne looked at her curiously. “I want a tattoo in the shape of a high heel, and the wiiiting backwards, that says ‘A woman can do anything a man can do.‘ With the implication being backwards and in heels.” Taz explained with a grin. “A friend drew it up I just haven’t gotten it done yet.‘

“You should. And have her post it.” Cora Anne nodded towards Priscilla.
The door opened and Riffraff stepped in the room. “Hey, babe, we gotta get on the road.” He gave her a quick kiss and rested his hands on her hips. “You got anything else to go in
the truck?”
“No.” Taz shook her head slightly. “I left the majority of my stuff with Knuckles last
night.”
“Ok.” He kissed her once more and Priscilla groaned, advising that they get a room. “Have one upstairs. It’s currently occupied by your dad.”
“I don’t need any more sisters.” Priscilla laughed as she rolled her eyes.
“I’m going to go get the bike.” This time, the kiss was deeper and longer. When he finally pulled away, he caressed her cheek before pressing a kiss to her temple. As he turned to leave, he saw Cora and nodded to her. “You had a good fight.”
“So did your girl.” Cora Anne replied.
“Yeah, she did.” He smiled over at Taz before he left.
“Damn, girl!” Cora Anne said to Taz fanning herself. “Just wow.”
“Yeah.” Taz blushed.
