Chapter 49: The Test
It’s okay, little girl. Your men are still together. – Daniel
The thought was, if you were pregnant in the morning, you would be pregnant in the
afternoon. With that in mind, Evie stopped at the drugstore on her way home from school. The assortment of tests all promised accurate results. But the one that simply
read PREGNANT or NOT PREGNANT seemed to be the best option. They had been trying
for several months and she did not want there to be any question.
After peeing on the stick, she sat it aside and went to change. Taking off her work clothes, she pulled on a pair of pajama pants and a NAVY PT t–shirt. If she couldn’t have her men,
she would at least have their shirt.
Then she set up her desk for grading papers. When she was certain that her desk was situated just right, and the allotted amount of time had passed, she went back to the
bathroom.
PREGNANT
She did a little happy dance in the bathroom then she went and started to grade the tests from today. At six thirty, her alarm went off and she sat the tests aside and moved to the kitchen. Daniel was on a swing shift and Cade was on shift until the morning. A few times a month she would have to eat dinner by herself. But her men always took care of her.
In the refrigerator, she found a small single serving meal from the local grocery store. She removed the plastic cover and placed the aluminum container in the little convection oven setting the time and temperature. She then sat the small plastic container of white cake on the counter to warm up. Evie smiled at how thoughtful they were.
It would have been Daniel that had gone to the store before going to work. But he would have called Cade to pick her meal. It was one of the little things that she really hated. Picking what to eat. When they had started their relationship four years ago, she had just finished her student teaching, and her eating habits were horrible. In fact, horrible would be an understatement. A granola bar. A bag of chips. A piece of fruit if she thought about
- it.
They had all known each other for years but one night at the club, they had approached her for a night in a playroom with the two of them. She had never been with two Doms

before. The idea excited her, quickly she had agreed. In the morning, she had woken up between them and decided that was something she wanted to do more often. Six weeks later, when they asked to collar her, she had agreed readily.
They had met with Master Joshua, the club officer who had helped to make an agreement with the three of them. As her godfather, Master Joshua knew her a little to well. He advised that one of the responsibilities of the masters would be making sure that she ate.
Properly.
Having seen what kinds of meals she had, or actually, did not have, they had agreed. She had not had to pick a meal or snack for herself since. And she loved it.
They would make a grocery list, give her money and a time allotment. It was the time that she had the hardest issue with. But now, she was able to do it and return on time. Unless she was feeling frisky and wished to be punished.
After losing his wife, Master Joshua had moved away a little over a year ago. She would have to call him and share the good news with him.
She was contemplating how to tell her men when someone knocked on the door. Since this was an evening that she was on her own, she assumed it was most likely one of the girls wanting to hang out. Shoving the test into her bag, she opened the front door to find a police officer standing on her front porch.
“Mrs. Daniel Reagan?” the officer asked. Before she could respond, she watched the fire chief pull up in front of her house. The chaplain stepped out of the passenger door.
“Evelyn.” The chaplain said stepping over to her. He knew that she had a relationship both men. “I need you to call your mom and have her meet you at the hospital.”
A/N: This is the second book, it’s with a lot of the same characters.
